Of course, my high school journey came with challenges.
In my junior year, I nearly earned a C in AICE Physics during the second quarter as I struggled to balance demanding coursework with extracurricular commitments.
Determined to improve, I created a study schedule, sought out peer support, and stayed disciplined, ultimately raising my grade and becoming the top-performing student in the class. My resilience earned me the AICE Physics Top Scholar Award, a recognition that reinforced the value of perseverance. Over the years, I’ve taken on leadership roles that allowed me to grow as a mentor and advocate.
As President of the Pre-Cure Medical Club, I directed medical workshops, including suturing and CPR certification, and hosted a health fair for students and families. As President of the Health Information Project (HIP), I mentored 21 Peer Health Educators, guiding them in delivering standardized health presentations to 9th graders on critical topics like mental health, drug abuse, and nutrition.
These leadership experiences have deepened my commitment to education and service.
My dedication to academic excellence and service has been recognized through honors like the Miami Herald Silver Knight Nomination and being selected as a QuestBridge National College Match Finalist—an honor that highlights my commitment to overcoming challenges and striving for success.
